Hello NBA 2K Wiki Editors, Contributors, Readers, and NBA 2K players, welcome to another announcement and update about the NBA 2K Wiki. This blogpost will go deep into all the upcoming changes, announcements, goals, and expectations the NBA 2K wiki will push to accomplish this summer leading up to NBA 2K25.
Our goal to rebuild the NBA 2K Wiki continues, with high priorities on the to-do list such as Creating, Editing, and Organizing NBA players, NBA 2K Game mode pages,
The 2023-2024 NBA Season brought us a lot of great games and moments, but we all know only one team can be crowned the champion. Throughout the rest of the playoffs, I invite you to offer a helping hand and continue to help grow the NBA 2K Wiki.
🏀 NBA 2024 Off-Season & Free Agency[]
The NBA's off-season will begin after the 2024 Finals, so there will definitely be tons of work to do related to Draft, Free Agency, Staff Signings, and any other transaction this summer. Expect the usual trades, signings, extensions, waivers, and more, which means the wiki will have to be heavily updated to maintain its credibility.
⛹️♀️ WNBA Content Expansion[]
For the entire duration of the NBA 2K Wiki, we have covered only basketball players who played for the National Basketball Association, however women have also changed the game of basketball and have become part of the NBA 2K franchise since NBA 2K21. Therefore, one of our main goals going into the off-season is to begin and start production of articles and content related to the Women's Basketball Association. From Players to Coaches, to even Executives, articles will be created and displayed to share with our readers who have an interest in the real life WNBA or NBA 2K's modes related to the WNBA.

As you may have noticed, the Home page is still "under construction" as I will personally continue to experiment with new ways and layouts to properly display all information that’s related to NBA 2K and certain aspects of the NBA & WNBA.

I have created a Discord server for any wiki editor, contributor, reader, or NBA 2K player to join and discuss anything related to the NBA 2K Wiki. I personally don’t expect it to be active or engaging, however it should serve as a better communication method. Please join if you’d like, otherwise you can communicate to other users by using their message walls.
