NBA 2K16 is the 17th main installment in the NBA 2K series. It was released on September 29, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. A mobile version for Android and iOS was also released on October 14, 2015.
This was the last game to feature Kobe Bryant as an active player as he retired following the 2015-16 NBA season.

NBA 2K16 was the newest installment to the 2K series, featuring a MyCareer mode directed, written, and co-produced by Spike Lee. The soundtrack, comprised of 50 different songs, was curated by DJ Premier, DJ Mustard, and DJ Khaled. In addition to current star Stephen Curry, a special Michael Jordan edition was also released, featuring former star Michael Jordan as the cover athlete and offering several physical and digital prizes.
