MyCareer is a story mode. The player can customize their characters looks, skills, etc.

Character Selection

You create your own character straight out of college or right from High School. You determine his looks, personality, stats and also the type of shoes he wears.

Characters

Player Character - Player you will be controlling

Agent - He is the PC's best  friend.

"Super" Agent - Attempts to gain PC as one of his advisees

Jackson Ellis - PC's rival (number 99)

General Manger - NPC who interacts with PC to figure out how he can help.  Interactions include Everything is Great, Give Me the Ball MoreMore MinutesNot getting along with CoachNot getting along with teammateRequest a Trade.  He can only be interacted with within his office.  Strangely, he appears on every team the PC plays on.

Assistant Coach - NPC who rarely appears to give advice and praise the PC.

Lebron James - Gives advice to the PC

Endorsements

There are a variety of endorsements that are unlocked further in MyCareer, such as shoe endorsements, movie endorsements, Magazine, Billboard, etc. Some of these have an impact on the story, such as the ability to get a new agent. The more fans you get the bigger endorsement deals you get. The bigger the deal the more VC.

Social Media

There is also a feature in MyCareer that allows the player to view Social Media, which is a similar version of Twitter in real life. The player is met with messages such as a legend calling the player out for not playing defense correctly, fans complimenting the player for an amount of points they got, etc.
